At Pumpkin Hill Farm, we grow as many different varieties of edible and decorative pumpkins and squash as possible within the constraints of Alberta's relatively short growing season. We find that our pumpkins and squash grow surprisingly well with the right moisture and heat in a very short time. We are passionate about growing varieties that can be used both for fall decorating and cooking/baking as well. We are always looking for the perfect pie pumpkin. We don't use any pesticides or chemicals in our gardens- all produce is grown as naturally as possible. Squash have excellent storage qualities and often keep well into the new year. While growing squash is our main focus, occasionally we do offer a variety of other delicious vegetables for vegetable boxes as well.
